Highland Resources Welcomes Westlake Dermatology to Lamar Central
Local dermatology practice joins tenant mix at centrally-located mixed-use development
Austin, Texas – (February 9, 2015) – Highland Resources, Inc. announced today that Westlake Dermatology has leased retail space at its Class-A mixed-use development, Lamar Central, located at 38th Street and North Lamar Boulevard. Westlake Dermatology has signed a 10-year lease for approximately 3,280 square feet on the ground floor of the building.
“Lamar Central’s location and high-end design is a natural fit for Westlake Dermatology and its growing presence as an industry leader in Austin and Central Texas,” said David Bodenman, Highland Resources Vice President. “We’re excited to welcome them to our development.”
Dr. Gregory Nikolaidis founded Westlake Dermatology, which specializes in dermatology and cosmetic surgery, in Austin in 2002. Since then, the practice has expanded to a multi-specialty group comprised of 17 physicians and 135 employees with locations in Westlake, Downtown Austin, North Austin, South Austin, Lakeway, Round Rock and Marble Falls. The site at Lamar Central marks its eighth location in the Austin area.
“Our team is thrilled to better serve Austin with the new location at Lamar Central,” said Dr. Nikolaidis. “It offers high visibility, parking for staff and patients and allows us to be in the heart of the medical district.”
Westlake Dermatology’s space will face Lamar Blvd. and feature resort-style design by Michael Hsu Office of Architecture. Design and layout includes six treatment rooms and additional retail space for skin care and cosmetic products.

Westlake Dermatology’s typical operating hours at the new location will be Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., and Saturdays, 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Move-in is scheduled for summer 2016; grand opening plans have not been disclosed at this time.
